DESCRIPTION

1r: Letter from Mary Nakahara to Rinko. Mary suggests that Rinko has asked her to write the history of the Crusaders. Mary said that while she would like to, there are too many things to think about at the moment and it’s difficult for her to find a free typewriter. She suggests that the “foreward” summarizes the history of the organization. 1v: Letter template that would have been sent out from Crusaders to Nisei soldiers. “Valentine” is spelled out. Each letter in the word is used to create a word that relates to the Nisei soldiers.
