Kapatid is a support group for families and friends of political prisoners. It was established in 1978 as a response to the detention and imprisonment of Ferdinand Marcos’s critics and those he deemed “enemies of the state.” This poster calls for the release of all political prisoners, including the detention of political prisoners around the world by both dictatorial regimes and by “democracies” like the United States.
