Poster title - Support the Filipino peoples struggle for Democracy Social Justice and Independence Towards Lasting PEACE

This poster depicts labor leader Ka Lando Olalia (Rolando Olalia), the chairperson of the Kilusang Mayo Uno. He and his driver, Leonor Alay-ay, were murdered in 1986, several months after the EDSA revolution that toppled the dictator. Officers of Rebolusyonaryong Alyansang Makabansa (RAM), an arm of the Armed Forces of the Philippines are widely believed to be responsible for murdering Olalia and Alay-ay to destabilize the Corazon Aquino administration. Their murder points to the ways that both the violence of martial law and the revolution that toppled the dictator continue well after 1986. The poster was produced by BAYAN.
