DESCRIPTION
Booklet from The Black Scholar titled, “The Struggle is for…Land”. Founded in 1968, the Republic of New Africa is a black nationalist organization. Its organization worked towards the establisment of an independent black country from five southern states: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and South Carolina. As well as, reparations from the United States for the enslavement of Africans and damages of racist laws to present.
