DESCRIPTION
Diary entries on September 8-9, 1942. Diary entries regarding the continuation of detainees being moved to other detention facilities and realization of discrimination against Japanese Americans in employment. Yuri writes of a anonymous Japanese girl trying to go into nursing and receiving letters from hospitals across the United States for employment. She is subject to racial discrimination because of her Japanese descent.
