National Council for Japanese American Redress (NCJAR) newsletter regarding reflections on the treatment of Japanese Americans after the signing of Executive Order 9066 and organizational efforts towards redress. Formed in 1979, the National Council for Japanese American Redress (NCJAR) was a council for the effort in obtaining redress for detainees of Japanese descent during World War II. NCJAR eventurally filed a class action lawsuit against the U.S. government for damages in incarceration caused by Executive Order 9066.
