Asian Americans for Equality vs. the City of New York was a class-action lawsuit against New York City's zoning plan of the Special Manhattan Bridge District. Through Mayor Ed Koch's advisory the Special Manhattan Bridge District was for the construction of high-rise luxury condominiums instead of low-income housing for the community.
