DESCRIPTION

100th Infantry Battalion veterans formed The Club 100 that distributed the “Puka Puka Parade” newsletter. Members chronicled events, their lives, and their experiences during their training and combat during World War II. The term “puka” in the Hawaiian language means “hole”. Hence the Battalion as “one puka puka” for 100.
