Acknowledgments

The Sugahara Website is a companion to the Sugahara Papers that are part of the UCLA Library Special Collections. The website is a collaborative project between the UCLA Institute of American Cultures and the UCLA Asian American Studies Center in cooperation with the UCLA Library. The website is an on-going project that will continue to add new items that complement and supplement the Sugahara Papers, such as videos and other tools to aid researchers and those with interests in the collection.

The website and the papers could not have come to UCLA without the generous support of the Sugahara family and Fairfield-Maxwell Ltd., as well as the work of the staff archivist at Fairfield-Maxwell Ltd. At UCLA, many thanks to the staff members of the Library Special Collections for processing and guiding the processes of acquiring and preserving the papers. The Institute of American Cultures staff helped facilitate the overall process, and staff members from the Asian American Studies Center deserve much credit and thanks for help with all aspects of the project, especially the website. All three units at UCLA will be responsible for the on-going work of maintaining and promoting the papers and the website.
